Most schools, kindergartens resume activity today

Chisinau, 11 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Most early education and primary, secondary and high school institutions are resuming their activity today.

On Wednesday, January 10, 532 institutions were closed: in the municipality of Chisinau – 292, Balti – 23, Călărași – 26, Cahul – 1, Fălești – 33, Glodeni – 24, Leova – 1, Orhei – 47, Rezina – 2, Străseni – 25, Taraclia – 29, Telenesti – 29.

At the same time, four schools in the country conducted online lessons yesterday. These are from Chisinau, Telenesti and Găgăuzia. In total, 758 children from these schools participated online in the educational process.

Another 367 students from institutions that were active yesterday were connected online to lessons, due to icy roads. They are from Cantemir, Dondușeni, Hâncești, Ștefan Vodă and Sângerei.

Decisions regarding the extension of winter vacation were adopted in all cases by the Emergency Situations Commissions at district or municipality level.
