Moldova to participate in Global Forum for Food and Agriculture within Berlin International Green Week

Chisinau, 13 January /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova will participate in the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA), which takes place within the Berlin International Green Week. The official opening will be held on 19 January 2024, with about 200 agriculture ministers and state secretaries due to bring together at the event.   

GFFA is recognized as the most important international conference focused on the key problems for the future of the agriculture and food industry. The participants in the event will analyze subjects on the food security, sustainability, innovations, international trade with agricultural products.  

Also in Berlin, Moldova will participate in the best known exhibition in the agro-food sector, organized on 19-28 January, this year. At Green Week, Moldova will be represented by nine native companies. It is for the first time ever that Moldova will have a country stand with an area of 100 square metres at this international event. The country’s delegation will present to visitors Moldovan wine, nuts, ice-cream, confectioner’s products and bread products.     

Green Week is one of the best known exhibitions in the agro-food sector, which brings together over 300 events and congresses. Each year, the action attracts about 1,400 exhibitors and 300,000 visitors from all countries. The exhibition areas occupy about 118,000 square metres, where the most recent tendencies in agriculture, food and technological innovation are presented.
