Number of COVID-19 cases up by 30% in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 15 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- In Chisinau, the number of COVID-19 cases increased by 30% in the last week. The information was presented today by deputy head of the General Directorate of Medical and Social Assistance Vladimir Bolocan at the operational meeting of the capital's services.

Most cases are of medium or mild severity. "We warn people to be cautious and observe protective measures, especially in crowded spaces," said Bolocan.

At the same time, he said that last week, there was a decrease in the cases of acute respiratory infections. 

Also, the capital's authorities emphasized that the flu vaccine stock was used in proportion to 99.6% of the 80 thousand doses distributed.
