Moldovan president awarded honorary titles to 31 artists, directors, actors, composers

Chisinau, 15 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu awarded five titles of People's Artist, 14 Master of Art and 12 Emeritus Artist to people of culture of the country.
According to the presidential press service, the awards were offered on National Culture Day for "prodigious activity in culture, significant contribution to the promotion of the nation's spiritual values, outstanding successes in creative activity, high professional mastery".
PLĂIEȘII group was awarded the honorary title Emeritus Artistic Collective for special merits in "safeguarding the national cultural heritage, contributing to the use and promotion of authentic musical folklore".
