Biathlete Alina Stremous became European vice-champion

Chisinau, 25 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Biathlete Alina Stremous became European vice-champion in the 15 km individual event.
According to the Ministry of Education and Research, the athlete was clocked with a time of 42:12.7 minutes, 46.5 seconds behind the winner of the race, Norwegian Maren Kirkeeide.
Alina Stremous repeated the performance of 2022 in the same event, when she also became European champion in the 10 km event. She is the second representative in the history of the Republic of Moldova who has won the European gold medal in biathlon.
The European Biathlon Championship takes place in Brezno-Osrblie, Slovakia.
