Chisinau, Feb. 3 /MOLDPRES/- During February, on two-year anniversary of the war started by Russia in Ukraine, parliament is hosting an exhibition of children's drawings - Peace formula in the art of children from Ukraine and the world.

The exhibition includes about 200 drawings, made by 200 children from the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, aged between 4 and 18, from art schools and refugee centers in the country. Through their creations, the children rendered peace as they understand it. The drawings were made as part of the international project - Peace formula in the art of children from Ukraine and the world, initiated by the charity foundation "Lviv Children's Gallery" from Ukraine, with the support of the International Women's Club of Moldova and the Embassy of Ukraine in Moldova.

Speaker Igor Grosu, Ambassador of Ukraine to Moldova Marko Shevchenko and his wife Olesea Shevchenko were present at the opening event of the exhibition. Deputies, officials, students and teachers of art schools and refugee centers also participated, as well as representatives of the International Women's Club of Moldova.

Shevchenko appreciated the children's creations: "These drawings are made in different techniques, with different colors, but they have a lot in common. Ukraine has developed a political plan on how we can achieve peace, which is presented by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and is called Peace Formula. I hope that this exhibition will make an important contribution to the world we are building."
