Moldovan deputy PM for European reintegration has meeting with Ambassador of Romania

Chisinau, 5 February /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov has had a meeting with Ambassador of Romania Cristian-Leon Turcanu. The dialogue was focused on aspects regarding the Moldovan-Romanian cooperation, with emphasis on the consolidation of the strategic partnership in the process of Moldova’s European integration, the government’s communication department reported.   

The Moldovan official expressed gratitude for the continuous and unconditional support by the Romanian side, provided in the key sectors for Moldova’s development according to the European model. Also, the deputy PM thanked for the consistent backing of Moldova’s European integration way, provided by the Bucharest authorities.    

In the context, the sides stressed the importance of a close coordination between the Bureau for European Integration and the Romanian institutions which can provide Moldova with support and expertise during the negotiations on accession.
