ANRE: Increase in fuel prices influenced by increase in quotations on international exchanges

Chisinau, Feb. 8 /MOLDPRES/- The National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) records a continuous trend of appreciation of fuel prices.

According to ANRE, in the last month, Platts petrol quotations increased by 13%, from $720 per ton to $815/ton. In the case of diesel, the increase is 15%, from 740 to 855 dollars/ton. "Consequently, fuel prices have increased constantly, reaching the values last recorded in the October-November 2023 period, when the Platts quotations were at the same level," stated ANRE.

Under these conditions, for tomorrow, ANRE has announced a maximum price for COR 95 petrol of 24.31 lei per liter, increasing by 0.04 lei. At the same time, diesel will be sold at a maximum of 22.39 lei per liter, up by 0.09 lei.
