About 8,000 people register for national programme on studying Romanian language in Moldova

Chisinau, 13 February /MOLDPRES/ - About 8,000 people have registered for the national programme on the studying of the Romanian language, the 2024 edition, launched in early February. People interested in studying the Romanian language can register for courses till 29 February.   

The courses will be organized on the period March-December 2024, with physical presence and online. The participants will get a certificate showing the level of linguistic competence and knowledge of the Romanian language, in accordance with the provisions of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

People willing to study the Romanian language can register for the course by filling in an online form: http://bit.ly/programlimbaromana. The ones who cannot register online can appeal at the phone number 068686004 on the working days, during 09:00-17:00, to be helped to fill in the application.  

In 2024, the Education and Research Ministry plans the training of about 4,000 employees within the Programme from the education, medical systems, public administration, justice, economy, as well as other categories of adults. Over eight million lei was earmarked on this purpose this year. The duration of a course will be of 120 hours, on average, depending on the level of linguistic competence, as compared to the course from 2023, which had 60 hours.
