Over 1,000 families benefited from one-off allowance at child's birth worth 20,000 lei

Chisinau, Feb. 13 /MOLDPRES/- Since the beginning of this year, 1,059 families have benefited from the one-off allowance at child's birth worth 20,000 lei (about 1,000 euros). The payment is paid ex officio by the National Social Insurance Office (CNAS), without the need for parents to submit any documents.

According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection (MMPS), the one-off allowance at child's birth is offered for each child born, including twins, provided that the child has been registered with the competent subdivision of the Public Services Agency.

To withdraw the money, the beneficiaries can go to the banking institution where they are served or to any post office in the country.
