Ghenadie Marian appointed head of Moldova's Bureau for European Integration

Chisinau, 14 February /MOLDPRES/ - The government today appointed Ghenadie Marian as head of the Bureau for European Integration.   

Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov made a proposal to this effect at the cabinet meeting. ‘’Ghenadie Marian started his work in Moldova’s diplomacy in 2016. During his career, he worked on the channel of the European integration at the central apparatus of the Foreign Affairs Ministry and at Moldova’s mission at EU. In 2023, Ghenadie Marian was state secretary for transports at the Infrastructure and Regional Development Ministry,’’ Cristina Gherasimov said.    

Also today, the government accepted the application on resignation by Cristina Gherasimov from the office of state secretary at the Foreign Affairs Ministry and by Rodica Crudu from the position of deputy secretary general at the same institution. Subsequently, Rodica Crudu was appointed as government’s state secretary.  

At the same time, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popsoi proposed the appointment of Carolina Perebinos as state secretary at the Foreign Affairs Ministry. ‘’Carolina Perebinos is career diplomat, with 26 years of experience in the diplomatic service. She worked at Moldova’s Embassy in the USA,’’ Mihai Popsoi noted.      

At the same time, Alexandra Sian was appointed state secretary of the Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry. ‘’Alexandra Sian has an experience of over 10 years in the development and management of international projects and programmes. She held important positions at specialized institutions, such as the Peace Corps in Moldova and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development,’’ Deputy Prime Minister, Agriculture and Food Industry Minister Vladimir Bolea said.
