Energocom company purchased gas at average price of $410 per thousand cubic meters in June-October 2023

Chisinau, February 15 /MOLDPRES/- In June - October 2023, Energocom company purchased about 600 million m3 of gas (or 6.37 million MWh), at average price of 410 dollars per thousand cubic meters (35.07 euros/MWh).

On June 6 - October 5, 2023, more than 40 tenders were organized for the procurement of natural gas both from own sources and from the account of the loan offered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. 27 rounds of tenders have been completed with contracts.

Natural gas was bought from nine companies from Romania, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Switzerland and Austria. "According to the contractual clauses, SA Energocom cannot provide more information about specific transactions," the institution stated.

The purchase price includes the cost of shipping to the delivery point.
