Thirteenth edition of Let's Read Together! National Campaign launched in Moldova

Chisinau, 15 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Ion Creanga National Library for Children today launched the Let’s Read Together! national campaign for the promotion of reading, the 13th edition. 

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the institution’s director, Eugenia Bejan, said the campaign’s goal was to promote the reading in Moldova’s villages and cities. The event is organized in cooperation with the Moldovan Writers’ Union, with the support of the Culture Ministry. Six books will be promoted within the 2024 campaign.    

The campaign is carried out annually all over Moldova during February-December, with the involvement of the public and school libraries, other education institutions and implies the promotion of books by contemporary native authors, meant for the following categories of readers: pre-school children and pupils of the primary school, pupils from gymnasiums, pupils from lyceums.
