Moldova's Chamber of Commerce and Industry launches 21st edition of Trade Mark of the Year contest

Chisinau, 20 February /MOLDPRES/ - Companies from Moldova can submit the files on participation in the contests, Trade Mark of the Year, and Prize for Achievements in Quality Field, launched by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) today. The files can be submitted till 29 March and the winners will get the prizes at the Moldovan Business Gala, due to be held in the next summer.     

Being at its 21st edition, the contest, Trade Mark of the Year, is one of the most efficient instruments of promotion of trade marks on the domestic market and the foreign one. The results of the contest allow highlighting of the leaders and establishing the dynamic of the behavior of the consumers on the domestic market.    

At a today’s news conference, CCI president Sergiu Harea said that the files submitted were considered by a committee of evaluation and the winners are selected following an opinion poll conducted among consumers.  

The people willing to participate in the contest can register at one or more nominations, according to the criteria of professionalism, in order to get the Great Prize – the Golden Mercurius.  

About 1,800 trade marks participated in those 20 earlier editions of the contest, Trade Mark of the Year. About 110 files were submitted in 2023.  

According to the director of the State Intellectual Property Agency, Eugeniu Rusu, the contest, Trade Mark of the Year, has already become traditional, being a symbol of performance in the business environment of Moldova.    

The contest, Prize for Achievements in Field of Quality of Assets and Services, is at its tenth issue. The contest’s goal is to highlight the companies which successfully implemented the management of the quality and to approach the modern approaches of quality. The period of submission of the applications on participation expires on 29 March. The Great Prize is the distinction, The Goddess of Quality.
