Moldovan deputy PM for European Integration to pay visit to Brussels

Chisinau, 20 February /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov will pay a working visit to Brussels on 22-23 February, this year.

The official will be accompanied by colleagues from the Justice Ministry and other competent institutions, in charge of the analysis of the EU’s legislation in the justice sector and the fundamental rights.

On the sidelines of the visit, Deputy PM Cristina Gherasimov will have meetings with European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi and the director general of the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations, Gert-Jan Koopman.

Cristina Gherasimov paid her last visit to Brussels on 7 February this year. At that time, the process of assessment of the degree of compliance of the national legislation with the European Union’s one was started.
