Chisinau, 20 February /MOLDPRES/ - Over 75,000 people visited the 21st edition of the Made in Moldova national exhibition, staged at the Moldexpo Centre on 31 January – 4 February. The president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Sergiu Harea, today unveiled data to this effect.

The exhibition brought together over 350 native companies from all sectors of the national economy and from all regions of Moldova, which presented to visitors the best products and services. Forty five new companies participated in the event, as well as economic agents who were present at all those 21 editions of Made in Moldova.

„The exhibition was organized at two pavilions from Moldexpo. Unfortunately, the pavilion No 3 was under repair and we had to refuse the participation of 120 companies. Over 75,000 visitors who were one time at the exhibition were registered, which was by 5,000 more against the last year,’’ Sergiu Harea said.

The CCI president also said that 72 per cent of the participants informed that they had established over 80 contacts and concluded certain memorandums of understanding with diverse partners, in order to sign partnerships with local and international companies.

The 21st edition of the Made in Moldova national exhibition was held with the slogan, At Home! Authentic! Native! and was organized by CCI, under the patronage of Moldova’s government, in partnership with the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development.

Made in Moldova is the event with which the schedule of each exhibition year starts in Moldova. The main goal of the exhibition is to support the native producers, promote the competitive products on the domestic and the external markets, attract investments and boost the public-private dialogue.
