New embassy would be opened in Chisinau

Chisinau, March 6. /MOLDPRES/- Irish government announced the decision to open an embassy in the Republic of Moldova.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the announcement is "a clear sign of Ireland's desire to boost relationship with Moldova".
The decision based on reciprocity marks a new stage in the bilateral relationship between Ireland and the Republic of Moldova, through which the existing bilateral cooperation will be consolidated, deepened and expanded.
"The decision of the Irish state is part of the expansion of Ireland's diplomatic and consular network, as part of the Global Ireland program," the statement reads.
