New amendments to Road Transport Code entered into force

Chisinau, March 7. /MOLDPRES/- Road transport operators and entrepreneurs in the field will benefit from new advantages introduced in the Road Transport Code of the Republic of Moldova, through the Law on the adjustment of legislation in the road transport, entered into force yesterday, March 6, 2024.

The legislative amendments aim to adjust the notions already defined in the Road Transport Code, such as: representative professional association, divisible goods, maximum bus/coach boarding capacity, traffic schedule, road transport schedule, itinerary, etc. At the same time, the notion of a road map was excluded.

The changes made will ensure equal and non-discriminatory treatment in a competitive and transparent environment for all road transport operators.
