Moldova's State Fiscal Service mionitor dozens of tax payers in HoReCa sector, trade with flowers on 8 March

Chisinau, 12 March /MOLDPRES/ - The State Fiscal Service (SFS) monitored a number of 30 restaurants and coffee houses, as well as 69 traders with flowers from the Chisinau and Balti municipalities on 7 and 8 March.     

As a result, SFS recorded revenues worth 7.2 million lei (360,000 euros) in the HoReCa sector and of about seven million lei – at the traders with flowers.

SFS noted that the actions had been not aimed at imposing sanctions, but at monitoring the way the legislation was observed by tax payers, in order to prevent the non-documentation of the transactions through cash registers.   

The monitoring took place on the entire period of work of the subdivisions, till the end of their working schedule. SFS verified the payment notices in contraposition with the tax vouchers issued. At the same time, explanations were demanded from employees.

The fiscal authority warns tax payers to observe the legislation and issue tax vouchers at the cash payments and the buyers are urged to ask for the tax voucher.
