Policemen carry out Safety Belt action in Moldova

Chisinau, 12 March /MOLDPRES/ - Policemen carry out the Safety Belt operation during one week.
According to the General Police Inspectorate (IGP), during the action, law-enforcers will verify whether drivers and their passengers use the safety belt, as well as the mechanism of children’s carriage.
The Safety Belt operation is an action of enforcing the law, coordinated at the European level by policemen from each member country of ROADPOL.
Since early 2024, policemen have compiled 1,550 official reports for failure to couple the safety belt.
