Moldovan National Army's servicemen become champions at Best Warrior Competition

Chisinau, 14 March /MOLDPRES/ - A group of servicemen of the Blue Helmets Peacekeeping Battalion 22 has ranked second at the competition, Best Warrior Competition, organized by the North Carolina (USA) National Guard.

"During five days, the participants competed at diverse events, including physical training and night and day shooting from different types of weapons, orientation on field, forced march, medical training, swimming events, as well as running on a track with obstacles,’’ the Defence Ministry said.

The team of Moldovan military took part along with another five competing teams.

The Moldovan peacekeepers’ participation in the Best Warrior Competition was a first-ever event for the National Army’s servicemen.
