Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry launches project on development of entrepreneurship, focused on businesses' digitalization

Chisinau, 14 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) today launched a project on the development of the entrepreneurship, focused on the digitalization of businesses. The initiative gives possibility to citizens from Ukraine and companies which employed Ukrainian refugees to develop their capacities in the digitalization sector and to implement new technologies.   

CCI president Sergiu Harea said that, within the project, support would be provided in the process of digitalization both for entrepreneurs from Moldova and citizens of Ukraine, who were employed or started a business in Moldova.  

The initiative provides also a component of grant for the digital transformation of enterprises. The grants will be able to be used for the implementation of applications for the digitalization of the internal processes at the level of company, as well as in the relation with partners, clients and authorities.   

Within the project, CCI will launch the Digital Academy, which will organize training sessions for entrepreneurs. At the same time, the project will back CCI in the modernization of the current digital platforms, enhancing the visibility and the access to information, securing the information systems.    

CCI launched the project titled, Development of competences through digital education: Promotion of the economic integration of the Ukrainian refugees in the business sector and solutions of implementation for the business environment.’’ The project was launched with the support of the initiative, Digital transformation of small- and medium-sized enterprises in the Eastern Partnership countries, financed by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation.
