Sergiu and Veronica Secaș are a family of entrepreneurs who contribute to the development of their locality through their work. In 2019, they opened an event hall in Slobozia Mare, Cahul district, with the help of a grant from the European Union.

Subsequently, the family expanded the business and opened a guesthouse - "La Donna." Here, tourists who come to visit southern Moldova, Beleu Lake, or those attending the famous BeleuFest festival usually stop.

Secaș family are also beneficiaries of the governmental program 373 - an example where the state and entrepreneurs collaborate to develop the locality and create jobs.

The guesthouse "La Donna" was visited by Speaker Igor Grosu. The official emphasized that such businesses need to be more numerous in our country.

"Southern Moldova is developing thanks to our brave entrepreneurs, like Secaș family, who have opened a guesthouse in Slobozia Mare. Such businesses need to be more numerous in our country in the near future. With our entrepreneurs' initiative, our country's economy is also being revived," stated Igor Grosu.

The authorities announced that out of the 1.9 billion euros offered by the European Union for economic growth, the state will finance 25,000 businesses in the Republic of Moldova. So far, over 100 initiatives by potential entrepreneurs have been registered.
