EU funds – concrete opportunities for business, investment and development in Moldova
Business representatives, consultants and development partners today were informed about the main funding opportunities offered by the European Union for Moldova at the International Conference, Entrepreneurship and Consultancy without Borders.”
During the session, EU Funds Opportunities Map in Moldova, Head of the General Directorate for Coordination of External Assistance and European Funds at the State Chancellery Emilia Cebotari presented the European instruments available to support reforms, investments, territorial cooperation and the development of the private sector, including the Growth Plan for Moldova, the Interreg programmes and the EU’s topic-related programmes.
The key message of the presentation was that European funds represent a real opportunity for modernizing the economy, enhancing competitiveness and developing communities; however, access to these funds depends on the capacity to prepare mature projects, build solid partnerships and propose impactful solutions.
The event provided a useful platform for dialogue between the public sector, the business community and consultants, contributing to a better understanding of how EU opportunities can be turned into concrete projects for Moldova.
