Moldovan deputy PM for reintegration meets members of Danish parliament's foreign policy committee
Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri has had a meeting with a delegation of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Parliament of Denmark (Folketing), led by its chair Christian Friis Bach.
During the discussions, the sides addressed topics related to the Moldova’s reintegration efforts, the advancement of the European integration process and the strengthening of the country’s resilience in the face of external challenges.
The interlocutors also referred to the situation of the citizens in the Transnistrian region and the measures promoted by the authorities to support them. Deputy Prime Minister Valeriu Chiveri emphasized that the economic and social reintegration of the residents from the Transnistrian region had recorded significant progress and represented an important catalyst in bringing the two banks of the Dniester River closer together.
For his part, the Danish official reconfirmed Denmark’s firm support for the European path Moldova, commending the progress achieved and the efforts of the authorities in implementing reforms.
