Moldovan president has meeting with delegation of Denmark's parliament

The Presidency of the Republic of Moldova

President Maia Sandu today, had a meeting with a delegation of the parliament of Denmark, on a visit to Chisinau. The delegation includes MPs Christian Friis Bach, Flemming Møller Mortensen, Astrid Krag, Ida Auken, Helle Bonnesen and Mette Kierkgaard, members of the Foreign Affairs Committee. The purpose of the visit is to deepen the bilateral cooperation between Moldova and Denmark, as well as to support Moldova’s path towards accession to the European Union.

The interlocutors also discussed regional security, as well as the measures undertaken by our country to strengthen resilience. President Maia Sandu expressed her appreciation for the consistent support provided by Denmark to Moldova, as well as to Ukraine, which, through its resistance, is protecting peace in the country and in the region.

Denmark stays a reliable partner and a supporter of Moldova’s European integration. The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to continue the political dialogue and cooperation.
