Moldova, Latvia strengthen cooperation: Latvian foreign affairs minister to visit Chisinau

Moldova and Latvia are strengthening their bilateral cooperation. Foreign Affairs Minister of Latvia, Baiba Braže will pay a working visit to Chisinau on August 3-4, 2026.

During the visit, the Latvian foreign minister will have a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs Minister Mihai Popsoi. The Latvian official will also be received by President Maia Sandu and will have a meeting with Prime Minister Vasile Tofan.

According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the visit reconfirms the excellent relations between Moldova and Latvia, as well as the intense political dialogue between the two states.

The diplomatic relations between the Moldova and Latvia were established on  September 1, 1992.
