A drone-like object today was discovered on a field in the central Telenesti district. Law-enforcement bodies checked the area and identified all components of the flying device.
According to the General Police Inspectorate (IGP), the authorities were notified by residents of the village Banestii Noi.
“The discovered parts do not pose any danger to citizens. All components were safely collected and will undergo specialized examination, in order to establish their structure and origin. Law-enforcement officers are taking measures to document the case,” the IGP informed.
In the context, the police reiterate their call for citizens not to approach or touch unknown or suspicious objects. Upon discovering such items, people are urged to immediately notify the 112 Service.
