The European Union has delivered a batch of modern logistic transport units to the National Army through the European Peace Facility platform.
According to Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatii, the vehicles include buses, trucks, minibuses, as well as SUVs and pickup trucks.
‘’All of these mean safety and better conditions for transportation from one mission to another, as well as events or any other forms of activity,’’ noted the minister.
Anatolie Nosatii thanked the representatives of the EU mission to Moldova, as well as European institutions and states that had contributed to the carrying out of this important project for the National Army and its staff.
‘’The assistance today presented, among many others, is a clear example of the effective cooperation between Moldova and the European Union and a testament to the commitment to strengthening our defense capabilities,’’ concluded the defense minister.
