Deputy Prime Minister for European integration and banking unions discussed social dialogue and employee protection

The importance of strengthening social dialogue between unions, employers, and authorities, as well as mechanisms for protecting the rights of employees in the banking and insurance sector were discussed by Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov with representatives of the Federation of Trade Unions of Banking and Insurance Institutions in the Republic of Moldova.

During the meeting, the official emphasized that social dialogue is a pillar of European integration, and the implementation of European labor legislation contributes to creating a fair working environment for all employees.

The discussions also focused on concrete ways to strengthen collaboration between unions, employers, and authorities and the mechanisms through which the rights of workers in the banking and insurance sectors can be protected.
