The parliament speaker and leader of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) Igor Grosu, along with Prime Minister Dorin Recean, have held a news conference two weeks after the parliamentary elections.
The officials assured that Moldova would continue its firm path towards European integration, based on the mandate got by PAS at the recent elections.
Igor Grosu informed that the party would put forward a new candidate for the position of prime minister, after Dorin Recean decided, for personal reasons, to end his role as head of the government, even though the party gave him the opportunity to continue his mandate.
The officials' statements were captured in pictures by MOLDPRES photojournalist Mihai Vengher.
