Moldovan parliament speaker has telephone conversation with new Gagauz governor

Chisinau, 26 March /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu, on a visit to Bucharest, today had a telephone conversation with the new Gagauz-Yeri Governor Irina Vlah, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.

The parliament speaker congratulated Irina Vlah for her victory in the election campaign for the office of governor of Gagauzia and wished her success in ensuring the welfare of the inhabitants of the region. At the same time, the speaker reiterated the Moldovan parliament’ openness to boost dialogue with the authorities of the autonomy for the benefit of the country’s citizens.

Andrian Candu and Irina Vlah also agreed to meet the following week in order to set out a cooperation agenda.
