New taxes for nourishment of children in education institutions to be published in Moldova's Official Journal

Chisinau, 02 March /MOLDPRES/ – New taxes for nourishment of children in educational institutions will be published tomorrow in Official Journal of the Republic of Moldova.

In accordance with the order of Education Ministry, for the menu of ante preschool and preschool children in educational institutions, it will be allocated from 3.90 lei to 15.30 lei (aged up to three years) and for infants, aged three to seven years, it will be allocated from 4.90 to 18 lei.

At the same time, the maintenance fee for each day attended in preschool institution constitutes 50 per cent of spending norms for feeding children supplied by budget.

Similarly, children/pupils of early and school age from orphanages, boarding schools/boarding schools and sanatorium, the amount will be 31.50 lei/day.

Simultaneously, there will be allocated 7.80 lei/day for free food supply of pupils of forms I – IV of public and private educational institutions, as well as pupils of forms V – XII of the educational institutions of the eastern districts of Moldova under Education Ministry and education institutions in Dubasari, Causeni, Anenii Noi located in the security zone.

The document also provides, for students in boarding high schools with sports profile, it will be allocated 43.50 (age 12 – 15 years) and 57.90 lei/day (age 16 – 19 years).

Consequently, it enables leaders of educational institutions to increase the amount of expenses for feeding children in the revenues collected as donations, sponsorships and humanitarian aid.
