Moldovan official journal roundup for 5 May

Chisinau, 4 May /MOLDPRES/- The parliament amended the law on electronic commerce. The document will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 5 May.

According to MPs, the amendments allow to eliminate shortcomings existing in the national legislative and normative framework and to apply new regulations through the EU legislation.

The document sets the principles of regulating electronic commerce, conditions for providing information society services, responsibility of service providers and intermediaries, as well as the principles of supporting cooperation between Moldova and other states in proving information society services.

The law will enter into force nine months after its publication in the Official Journal of Moldova, and within this period the government will come up with proposals for adjusting the legislation.
