Head of action, solidarity party reelected as chairman in Moldova

Chisinau, 10 September /MOLDPRES/ – Maia Sandu was reelected as leader of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) at the IInd extraordinary Congress of the party that took place in Chisinau today. Also, there were elected the vice-presidents and members of the permanent PAS National Bureau.
At the congress, it was examined the party's activity in 2016, including the presidential election campaign. Similarly, the delegates discussed citizens' issues and outlined the PAS priorities for the upcoming period. These include objectives such as, "just justice for everyone, quality education for the future, neighborhood relations with other states based on mutual respect, more active role of young people and women in politics" etc.
Vice-President of the European People's Party (EPP), Dara Murphy, was present at the forum.
The PAS is a centre-right political party of Moldova, founded by former Education Minister, Maia Sandu. The party is formed on the political platform "In/pas/cu Maia Sandu" (In/step/with Maia Sandu), initiated in 2015.
