At the same time, Andrian Candu asked for the observance of the terms of laws’ approval, taking into account the procedure of consideration in parliament. Also, he noted that the submission of a draft in parliament does not mean that the ministry’s work is over. “It is necessary to work in cooperation with the standing commissions and to follow the way of the law till the publication,” the parliament speaker stressed.

For his part, the prime minister said that such meetings contribute to speeding up adoption of measures of Moldova’s modernization, in the context of the agreements and commitments on the external stage. Thus, the PM noted that the updating of the national action plan for the implementation of the Association Agreement with EU till 2019 would be initiated in next November. Filip emphasized that it is important to maintain the pace as to the enforcement of the Agreement.

They also analyzed the fulfillment of the commitments before the International Monetary Fund and set priorities for the next period in the joint government-parliament agenda.

At the same time, the cabinet members and the lawmakers discussed the steps which should be undertaken to get the macro-financial assistance worth 100 million euros from the European Union. Prime Minister Pavel Filip reiterated that the schedule in terms of this subject was observed and that he was sure that Moldova would fulfill, step by step, all the commitments taken, for the benefit of all Moldovan citizens.

In the context, the parliament speaker said that a meeting of the parliamentary association committee would take place in Strasbourg on 25-26 October and the parliament would organize a meeting of the parliamentary council for European integration on 20 October.
