German-Moldovan programme on enhancing managers' qualification extended

Chisinau, 19 October /MOLDPRES/ - A memorandum of understanding on the extension of a German-Moldovan programme on enhancing managers’ qualification today was signed by Ambassador of Germany to Moldova Julia Monar and Deputy Economics and Infrastructure Minister Vitalie Iurcu.   

According to the German Embassy in Moldova, the signing of the memorandum took place at a forum, Agro-Invest Bridges, organized by the association of alumni INVENT Moldova, along with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), under the auspices of the Moldovan Economics and Infrastructure Ministry.

The programme on enhancing the managers’ qualification is meant, in particular, for small and medium-sized enterprises with potential for the international market. The programme trains, under the motto, Fit for Partnership with Germany, managers from Asia, Eastern Europe, North Africa and Latin America, to set trade relations and economic cooperation with German enterprises. At the same time, about 250 business people from Moldova in the fields of constructions, food industry and agriculture, logictics and information technologies participated in this programme.    

The programme is backed by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ). The Chamber of Commerce and Industry is in charge of its implementation in Moldova.

Starting from 2008, Moldova has been partner country within this international programme, implemented within the German-Moldovan bilateral cooperation and coordinated by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy of Germany.
