Moldovan policemen urge drivers to move with low speed because of low visibility

Chisinau, 28 February /MOLDPRES/ - Law-enforcers today warned drivers about the fact that thick fog persisted in the some areas of the central and southern Moldova, which prompts a decrease in the visibility in traffic.   

In these conditions, police recommend maximal prudence in driving, the signaling of the intention to change the direction of movement, the increase in the distance between vehicles and the connection of the fog lights. Law-enforcers also recommend avoiding the non-ensured overtaking.      

Pedestrians are urged to cross the street only in allowed places and only after they make sure. In conditions of low visibility and at night, people are urged to wear clothes with reflective accessories, in order to be easily noticed.  

Meteorologists say the fog will gradually disappear at noon. At the same time, the fog will persist all over the country today evening.
