Roadmen mobilized in snowy north
Roadmen are mobilized in Briceni, Ocnița, Edineț, Dondușeni, Râșcani and Drochia districts, where snow is falling.
"The roadmen are mobilized, and are intervening on the affected routes with 14 special vehicles to spread anti-slip material and ensure best traffic conditions," according to the State Road Administration (ASD).
Roadmen urge drivers to drive carefully and adjust their speed to road conditions.
A yellow code warning for hazardous weather phenomena is in effect in the country, which includes cooling temperatures, frost and precipitation in the form of sleet and snow.
