EU's support for advancing European path of Moldova discussed in Brussels

Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs Minister Mihai Popsoi, during his visit to Brussels, held discussions with Secretary-General of the Council of the European Union, Thérèse Blanchet.

According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry, at the meeting, the officials addressed the European Union’s constant support for advancing the European path of Moldova. The sides underlined that the country had registered significant progress in the accession process, developments that have been recognized and appreciated by European partners, including in the EU Enlargement Report, approved by the European Commission on 4 November 2025.

“The support of the member states is important, in order firmly to continue on the European path. We will continue this course, so as to bring more security and prosperity to our citizens,” emphasized Minister Mihai Popsoi.

Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popsoi on February 2-4 pays a working visit to the institutions of the European Union headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.
