Moldovan PM introduces new leadership of State Chancellery to team
November 5, 2025, Chisinau – Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu has introduced Secretary General of the Government Alexei Buzu and the Deputy Secretary General Alexandru Iacub to the State Chancellery’s team, following their appointment at a today's cabinet meeting.
The PM expressed confidence that the new leadership of the State Chancellery would contribute to streamlining the institution's operations. He also thanked the former Secretary General, Artur Mija, for his professionalism proved and for improving the work processes at the State Chancellery.
“I am pleased to see individuals dedicated to public service, who responsibly carry out their mission. I appreciate your work and I am convinced that together, as a united team, we will achieve all objectives set,” said the prime minister.
For his part, Secretary General of the Government Alexei Buzu spoke about the goals set for the upcoming period, emphasizing the role of the State Chancellery in Moldova's process of integration into the European Union.
“Through our work, we will achieve the generations' dream – to see Moldova in the European family. We will increase momentum, raise quality standards, and demonstrate that we are a team of professionals. The success of the government team is Moldova's success,” noted Secretary General of the Government Alexei Buzu.
