New ministers of Moldova's government introduced to ministries' teams

November 3, 2025, Chisinau – Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu has introduced the new members of the government to the ministries’ teams. The PM wished success to each minister and their teams, emphasizing that, through collective effort, Moldova would be able to continue transforming into a prosperous country and accelerate its path towards European integration.

The prime minister highlighted that the current government combined policy continuity with new ideas and modern expertise, meant to accelerate the country's development and ensure tangible results for its citizens. In particular, the PM emphasized the aim of building a competitive economy.

“We must move forward. The governing programme presented will be complemented with other actions. Our focus is on economic growth, attracting investments and transforming the consumer economy into an investment economy. I believe that, through a collective effort, we will succeed,” the prime minister said.

At the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitization, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister Eugen Osmochescu was introduced. At the Ministry of Justice, Minister Vladislav Cojuhari was presented to the employees.

The Ministry of Finance's team was introduced to Minister Andrian Gavrilita, at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection - Minister Natalia Plugaru, and at the Health Ministry - Minister Emil Ceban.

The employees of the Ministry of Environment attended the introduction of the new minister Gheorghe Hajder, while the team of the Culture Ministry will be led by Minister Cristian Jardan. Deputy Prime Minister Valeriu Chiveri was introduced at the Reintegration Policies Bureau.

Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu thanked the former ministers for their work and dedication, noting that the results achieved during previous mandates had significantly contributed to Moldova’s advancement on the path of European integration.

The new government sworn in office on October 31, with the vote of 55 deputies, and on November 1, the new officials took the oath of office. The governance programme, EU, Peace, Development, presented by Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu, aims to fulfill the government's mission of joining the European Union and bring tangible benefits to the people even before the integration process is completed – investments, well-paid jobs, modern public services and a friendly and efficient administration.
