
President conveys congratulatory message to Jewish community in Moldova on Passover
President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu sent a congratulatory message to the Jewish community in our country, as well as to all those who mark Passover holiday around the world.
"Passover is an important holiday, celebrated today by Jews all over the world, including the Jewish community in the Republic of Moldova. On this occasion, I send wishes of health, peace, and achievements to all those who celebrate. May the spirit of this holiday bring light to your soul and joy to your family," the head of state said.
Passover (or Jewish Easter) is one of the most important holidays in Judaism, symbolizing freedom, spiritual renewal, and faith, celebrated over eight days.
