President appoints Alexandru Gasnaș as presidential health advisor
President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu has signed a decree appointing Alexandru Gasnaș as presidential health advisor.
In his term, Alexandru Gasnaș will provide expertise to the President of the Republic of Moldova on topics related to public health policies, with a focus on developing and promoting awareness campaigns about health risk factors for children and young people.
Alexandru Gasnaș is a neurologist and a university lecturer at USMF "Nicolae Testemițanu", has led the Department of Neurology, Internal Diseases and Epileptology at IMSP Institute of Emergency Medicine, and has served as the state secretary at the Ministry of Health. Later, he served as a health advisor in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
