The PM emphasized that, through this initiative, the European Union not only provides the country with financial and technical support, but also the confidence that Moldova is ready to become an active and responsible member of the large European family.

Prime Minister Dorin Recean expressed his gratitude, highlighting that this support will help the country strengthen the rule of law, improve public administration, attract young professionals to public institutions and bring European standards to every field of life.

"The launch of the project is a clear testament to our shared commitment to a modernized, prosperous and resilient country. Together with our citizens and partners, we will build a European Moldova – a stronger state that actively contributes to the peaceful future of Europe," said Prime Minister Dorin Recean.

The project will last three years and aims to speed up the process of Moldova’s integration into the European Union.

"Moldova is Europe – Support for EU Integration", fully funded by the European Union and implemented by a consortium of international partners, will focus on several strategic areas, including governance, rule of law, economic development, safe and resilient infrastructure, education oriented towards societal needs and environmental sustainability.

At the same time, the project will enhance the administrative and institutional capacity necessary to achieve the priorities outlined in Growth Plan for Moldova, aimed at developing a competitive market economy.

Thus, 13 High EU Advisors, as well as international and local experts, on both medium and short-term assignments, are involved in the project to provide long-term support to key public administrations.
