Deputy PM for reintegration has meeting with Canadian Ambassador to Moldova

The Government of the Republic of Moldova

Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Valeriu Chiveri today had a working meeting with Canadian Ambassador to Moldova Gavin Buchan.

During the discussions, the sides addressed the main developments regarding the Transnistrian file, highlighting the opportunities provided by the European integration process, which, through modernization and enhancing the attractiveness Moldova, contributes to advancing the country's reintegration process.

At the same time, special attention was given to the observance of human rights, including the freedom of expression, free movement, access to education, as well as the situation of individuals illegally detained in the Transnistrian region.
