Appointed Chinese Ambassador presents copies of accreditation letters; cooperation opportunities discussed at Moldova's Foreign Affairs Minister
Appointed Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Moldova Dong Zhihua has presented the copies of her accreditation letters at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE). The Chinese diplomat met State Secretary Sergiu Mihov, who congratulated the ambassador on the commencement of her mandate and wished her success in her work.
The two officials reviewed the Moldovan-Chinese bilateral relations, highlighting their constructive nature, based on principles of mutual respect and common benefit. They also discussed prospects for enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
During the dialogue, the sides highlighted significant collaboration opportunities in such areas as trade, agriculture, medicine, education, culture and modern technologies, as well as within multilateral frameworks and international organizations.
State Secretary Sergiu Mihov confirmed the readiness of the Moldovan authorities to continue supporting the rapprochement and deepening of the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation with the People's Republic of China.
