Local elections: Over 21% of voters cast ballots by 3:00 p.m.
Over 21% of voters had cast their ballots by 3:00 p.m. today in the localities where the second round of local elections is taking place.
According to the Central Electoral Commission, by 3:00 p.m. a total of 8,823 voters had turned out, which represents 21.05% of those included in the electoral rolls.
Thus, in Ruseștii Noi commune, Ialoveni district, 1,053 people voted, or 22.83% of voters; in the municipality of Orhei, Orhei district – 5,438 people, or 21.24%; and in the town of Taraclia, Taraclia district – 2,332 voters, or 19.96%.
