Moldovan PM meets Custodian of Romanian Crown at end of visit to Bucharest

Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu today met Her Majesty Margareta, the Custodian of the Romanian Crown, and His Royal Highness Radu, the Prince Consort of Romania, at the end of his visit to Romania.

The Moldovan PM expressed gratitude on behalf of the government and citizens of Moldova for the constant support provided by the Romanian Royal House. Alexandru Munteanu said that the Moldovan authorities continued to rely on the support of the Royal House, including in European capitals, in order to achieve the goal of European integration.

The prime minister emphasized that the citizens of Moldova and Romania mutually benefit, when connections in education, research, culture, health, as well as in the social and humanitarian fields are strengthened.

Alexandru Munteanu today made an official visit to Bucharest, marking his first foreign visit since taking office. Today morning, Prime Minister Munteanu was received by the President of Romania Nicusor Dan at the Cotroceni Palace. Later, Alexandru Munteanu went to the Victoria Palace, where he was welcomed by his counterpart, Ilie Bolojan. In Bucharest, the PM also met President of the Romanian Senate Mircea Abrudean and President of Romanian Chamber of Deputies Sorin Grindeanu.
