New local elections. About 850 citizens voted by 9:00 AM

The voting process in the six localities of the country, where new local elections are taking place today, is proceeding normally. By 9:00 AM, 849 citizens or 3.76% of the voters have cast their ballots.

According to the Central Electoral Commission, all 21 polling stations were opened at 7:00 AM. A total of 22,525 voters are registered on the main electoral lists.

Citizens who are unable to travel to the polling station can request a mobile ballot box at home until 2:00 PM. The request must be accompanied by a medical certificate.

The voting process will conclude at 9:00 PM.

In six localities across the country, new local elections for the position of mayor are being held today: Ustia village, Glodeni district, Natalievca commune, Fălești district, Cremenciug commune, Soroca district, Bașcalia village, Basarabeasca district, Călinești commune, Fălești district, and Leova city, Leova district. Additionally, in Călinești commune, Fălești district, and Leova city, Leova district, a new composition of the local council will also be elected.
